IT1103 Information Systems & Technologies

Information systems and technologies facilitate daily activities in personal as well as in professional environments. Therefore, learning about information systems and technologies would be useful for ones’ professional development and personal success.

The aim of this course is to develop an understanding of the components of Computer Based Information Systems (CBIS), their functions, and the types of CBIS used in organizations. Furthermore, it provides a general understanding of information systems development process and the ethical and security issues associated with the use of information systems.
